Why choose House of Levity over other firms in town?
Committing to a design studio with large minimums can feel intimidating. What if you don’t love what they present? What if you feel pressured to make decisions before you’re ready? I believe good design should unfold naturally and at your own pace. At House of Levity, I only require a $500 deposit to get started.
Maybe we start with a sofa. Then we find the perfect rug. Later, you decide it’s time for extra seating. My services are designed to grow with you, whether you’d like to take things slow and spread out the experience and expenses, or dive in and transform everything at once. I’ve got you covered.
No pressure. No minimums. Just beautiful, intentional design that evolves with you.
Why work with a designer when you could do it yourself or use free design services at a retailer?
Good design is more than decorating a room. It is about creating depth, balance, and personality.
A beautiful home feels layered and multidimensional, with a thoughtful mix of high-end and affordable pieces, new finds, and vintage treasures. When everything comes from one retailer, spaces can begin to feel flat, more like a showroom than a reflection of you.
Retailers are motivated to sell their own products, so while they may share the positives, they are less likely to mention when something may not be the right fit for your home. A designer’s loyalty is different. Our focus is on you, your space, your lifestyle, and your long-term satisfaction.
At House of Levity, I source from a wide range of vendors and makers to create something entirely your own. The result is a home that feels collected, intentional, and full of life.
I make purchases through professional trade accounts with various retailers. These accounts can offer advantages I can pass on to you, such as discounted shipping, access to additional samples, and more flexible return policies. Please note that benefits vary by retailer and are not guaranteed.
As a designer, I live and breathe design. I’m constantly sourcing and discovering what’s new and inspiring, which allows me to bring a fresh perspective and access to unique, hard-to-find pieces you may not come across on your own.
Do you work with clients remotely or locally?
I work with clients both locally and remotely! For local projects, I can be more hands-on, visiting your space in person and assisting with sourcing and installations. For remote projects, I guide you closely every step of the way. You’ll provide the dimensions of your space, and I’ll create a layout, a mood board, and a curated selection of furniture and decor pieces you’ll love. We’ll work together until every element feels just right, and I can even send samples (when available) directly to you so you can see and feel the materials before making final decisions.
Do you work alone or with a team?
I primarily work solo, but I have a wonderful network of seasoned designers and mentors I can turn to for insight or guidance when needed.
