Or the rug that somehow ties everything together.The Perfect Piece is our à la carte sourcing service for those moments when you don’t need an entire room designed; you simply need a designer to find the right thing.
No meetings. No video calls. No lengthy design process. You tell us what you’re looking for, show us your space, and give us the information we need. We take it from there.
HOW IT WORKS
01 : Choose What You Need
Select the type of piece you’d like us to source and purchase the corresponding sourcing service. Whether you’re searching for a sofa, dining table, rug, chandelier, coffee table, mirror, or that final piece you haven’t been able to find, we’ll focus our search specifically on your space and needs.
02 : Tell Us About Your Space
After purchasing, you’ll receive a link to a short online design questionnaire. We’ll ask for photographs of your room, relevant measurements, your budget, and a little about how you live. Depending on what we’re sourcing, we may also request specific measurements such as ceiling height, doorway dimensions, existing furniture dimensions, or available wall space. You can also share inspiration images, Pinterest boards, favorite designers, or anything else that helps us understand what you’re drawn to. There is no consultation or video call required. The entire process is completed virtually.
03 : We Source
Then the search begins. Rather than sending you a long list of possibilities to sort through, we use our design perspective to narrow the market and identify the piece we believe belongs in your space. We consider scale, proportion, material, color, function, lifestyle, budget, and how the selection relates to what you already own.
04 : Meet Your Perfect Piece
Within approximately 5–7 business days after receiving your completed questionnaire and all required information, you’ll receive your personalized sourcing recommendation via email.

We’ll provide imagery, dimensions, finish or material information, pricing at the time of sourcing, and our reasoning behind the recommendation. Then it’s yours to make happen.
SOURCING FEES
Finishing Piece
$225
For smaller pieces that complete a room.
Examples include:
Side tables, table lamps, floor lamps, mirrors, stools, benches and smaller accent pieces.
Statement Piece
$350
For pieces that have a significant visual or spatial impact.
Examples include:
Coffee tables, rugs, chandeliers and pendants, dining tables, accent chairs and substantial casegoods.
Major Piece
$500
For larger purchases where comfort, dimensions, construction, configuration and lifestyle require additional consideration.
Examples include:
Sofas, sectionals, beds and other major upholstered pieces.
Unusually complex, custom, antique, vintage or highly specialized sourcing requests may require a custom quote.
WANT US TO PURCHASE IT FOR YOU?
In some cases, your selection may be available through one of our studio’s trade partners. When eligible, House of Levity purchasing may be offered separately. If you choose studio purchasing, we’ll provide your client price before an order is placed. Once approved and paid, House of Levity will place the order and serve as your point of contact with the vendor. Studio purchasing is not guaranteed for every recommendation and is offered at our discretion based on the vendor, product, order value, shipping requirements and level of administration involved.
You are always welcome to purchase your recommendation independently when a direct purchasing option is available.

One round of refinement if the initial recommendation does not meet the requirements established in your original questionnaire
What’s Not Included
The Perfect Piece does not include:
Design consultations or video calls
Floor plans or space planning
Renderings
Mood boards
Whole-room design
Styling of surrounding furnishings
Construction or renovation recommendations
Contractor or installer coordination
Site visits
Installation
Unlimited revisions
Multiple product categories within one sourcing request
If your question requires us to reconsider or design the room as a whole, we’ll recommend our Virtual Interior Design service instead.
REFINEMENTS
We want the recommendation to feel right. If neither initial recommendation works for you, your service includes one round of refinement based on feedback related to the original request. A refinement is intended to adjust the original direction—not establish an entirely new brief. For example, asking for a slightly warmer finish, a lower-profile silhouette, or an option closer to the lower end of your stated budget would generally be considered a refinement. Changing from a sofa to a sectional, substantially changing the budget, introducing new dimensional requirements, changing the desired aesthetic, or requesting a different product category may require a new sourcing service.
YOUR BUDGET
Please provide the amount you are genuinely comfortable investing in the piece itself, excluding our sourcing fee. We may occasionally recommend an exceptional option slightly outside the stated range when we believe it is worth your consideration, but your budget remains an important part of our sourcing criteria. Shipping, delivery, installation, taxes and other third-party charges may be additional to the product price.
